See More RFP...

Just how redfeltpig began is glazed in mystery and mixed in metaphors. Experts do know that In the very early 1990's, Gunther was there in the smoke filled pool room, hovering over the red felt table in the back of Bourgeois Pig. The idea began in one direction and quickly reversed course and has been happy ever since. For over 30 years RFP has been getting together in various spots on the west coast to experience the music. 

And so continues the tradition, an ongoing collaboration of musicians who improvise music direct to digital recorder(s) while listening thru head-phones. They use no amplifiers nor any speakers for these recordings. This has been true for most of the RFP recordings, there was a brief moment in RFP time when a more acoustic set up was in use, never in favour.  More recently, RFP has gone back to its electronica roots, embracing the flow and the extension cords.
